- Shinkwae-dong style Geomungo Sanjo Currently, Sinkweedong style Geomungo Sanjo is one of the two major schools of Geomungo Sanjo that is most frequently performed along with Han Gapdeuk style Geomungo Sanjo. The new geomungo sanjo created by Shin Kwae-dong by refining the tunes of his teacher, Baek Nak-jun, is called Shin Kwae-dong style. Shin Kwae-dong added Hwimori by adding his own melody to Baek Nak-jun's melody, and composed Jungjungmori and Eotmori newly.
The rhythm composition of Shinkweedong-ryu consists of a total of six rhythms in the order of Jinyang-Jungmori-Jungjungmori-Eotmori-Jajinmori-Hwimori, and the entire melody is approximately 60 minutes or less. Shin Kwae-dong's Geomungo Sanjo was designated as Important Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 16, and the score recorded in the 5 lines is included in Shin Kwae-dong's 『Hyeongeumgok Complete Collection』.
