[Author's Note]

After listening to this album, I hope that you feel like you've gone through the journey to your soul.

That is what "Spirit Romance" is all about. 

Every step of life is a process to find yourself within you, and to shine and bloom your soul to the fullest.

Loving someone and embracing life, sometimes gives you the exhilirating joy.

But sometimes life throws you the pain weighing on your chest and the misery of being left alone.

Just as the peak necessarily implies a descent, pain and solitude are always with you in the steps to growth.

Then, finally, you reach the deep abyss and the brilliant light of the sky that seemed unreacheable.

And you make real love,

with the sky, the wind, the clouds, the sea, the endless eternity and the eternal vastness...

For all the clumsy love in the world,

I dedicate these songs that came from my sheer heart.

1. "Butterfly Humming"

Like a girl chasing a butterfly, my soul's journey begins. Fluttering in the wind like a dream,

with indescribable longing and excitement.

I added the humming melody while walking through the fields of Sass Fee, Switzerland.

2. "Dance Over The Clouds"

Two lovers dance softly. Like flying in a field of flowers on clouds.

Petals are fluttering everywhere. Clothes are also scattering. Sometimes the lovers move shyly, sometimes passionately.

Then, their dance reaches its climax. Dance beyond memory that you want to grasp but can't be caught.

3. "Promenade"

A world where two of us were enough. A magical time when only two of us existed on this planet.

It was fun when we stepped on the fallen leaves, walked by the river, ran after the waves, and passed through the grass.

I will hold your hands on this endless earth, in this endless eternity.

4."Singing Heart"

I hold my heart to hide my real feelings.

What I wanted and longed for is close enough to grasp.

The excitement and heart-struck moment when the whole world was colored with sunset.

5. "Starlight Wonder"

Quiet confession. Love always blooms and disappears within me.

Like a sadly brilliant starlight.

Love is sometimes so alone and lonely, but it shines on itself and alone.

6. "Broken Memories"

Tears that I shed alone that can't be expressed to anyone, a scar left in my heart.

I have to deal with the sadness alone, but it's the time when I'm closer to God than ever.

Desire and prayer for the invisible.

Despite the sorrowful sadness, the heart to rise again is immeaserable and beautiful.

7. "Time Flower"

Like the flower that blooms over time, I overcome sadness and pain. The soul inside me soothes me.

Transparent leaves spread out one by one, just like the hem of hanbok.

A calm and elegant flower that blooms in the distant air.

8. "Pure Solitude"

In the end, darkness, my rough life, embraces me again. As if silence quietly envelops the world.

I know now, that as winter embraces spring, darkness has nursed light.

The deep light that darkness bears... I'm not lonely anymore.

9. "Reaching You"

Still, love is the answer. Embracing the world with open arms is the answer.

Even if my heart struggles with failure, betrayal and despair, the answer is to set my heart free.

For the sky, for the eternity, for the time that will never come back

Until my heart reaches the end of the universe, I run.

10. "Dusty Light Bird"

Like singing a lullaby to a child at the bedside.

Listening to this song, I wrap up my soul's journey as if having read through a fairy tale.

A dusty bird flutters wings turning into light.

It has white wings that are huge, elegant and gorgeous,  

but there is a lot of dust on them. The bird is afraid to spread its wings and fly.

One day, the bird took a deep breath several times. It spreaded its wings and began to glide up.

Black dust becomes golden light and flutters in the night sky.

When I bravely spread my wings, I realize that my flaws are actually light, not dust.

We fly towards hope like that.
