Jieun Park, Sooji Jung - Soar (Ferry Sewol 3rd anniversary memorial album 'Sorry')

It's already the 10th anniversary.

We never forget them.

"  I can't bear to say 'consolation' or any other words to those who suffered through the Sewol Ferry disaster.
   I can't represent everyone's feelings.
However, what we can best express is
Through the ‘light’ called ‘music’, we can help alleviate their wounds even just a little bit.
I sincerely hope that we can embrace and heal.
Furthermore, I am hurt and exhausted by various things.
In all of our hearts and in this society
I hope that the ‘light’ of truth will spread. "

There are people trapped in a boat deep in the sea. They stick their faces out the window, hesitating whether they can go outside. Then, little by little, it pulls its body out of the hull and walks around in the sea as if dancing. But I still can't get out of the area around the ship. After a while, they hear voices, cries, or heartbreaking prayers addressed to them by living or surviving family members, friends, or colleagues. As I hear that sound, the bodies of people moving around in a small space come to mind. As if going on a picnic like when you first boarded the ship, you fly across the sea and into the sky.
